Heather Nauert
Heather Ann Nauert, born on January 27, 1970, is an American journalist on the radio who was previously an official in the federal government. She served as Spokesperson for United States Department of State during the Donald Trump administration (2017 to 2019). She is a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, which is a think tank for conservatives.
Before joining the Department of State she was an Fox News correspondent and news presenter. Nauert also served as acting Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs under the Trump administration from March through October 2018. Nauert was appointed by Trump to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board as well as the White House Commission on White House Fellowships in 2019.
